OUR NAME

The name "Two Currents" carries a dual meaning that perfectly reflects who we are and where we come from.  On one hand, it represents the two types of electrical current — AC and DC — the foundation of our craft and the heart of what we do every day.  But beyond the technical, it’s also a nod to home — Brevard County, a place shaped by its people and defined by two beautiful, ever-moving rivers: the St. Johns River and the Indian River. These two distinct, alternating currents flow in different directions, yet together they sustain the land and community we’re proud to serve.  Like the rivers that surround us, Two Currents is built on movement, connection, and balance — blending technical expertise with deep local roots. 

OUR FOUNDER

Born and raised right here in Brevard County, Briar Winnett, owner and operator of Two Currents, takes great pride in serving the community that shaped him. After gaining years of hands-on experience across multiple trades, Briar completed electrical trade school and a rigorous apprenticeship, earning his Certified Electrical Contractor license in 2025.

A dedicated husband and loving father, Briar founded Two Currents with a clear mission — to deliver electrical service built on integrity, craftsmanship, and trust. Having seen firsthand the gaps in quality and transparency across the industry, he set out to create a company where doing things the right way isn’t just a promise — it’s the standard.
